TEAM ANGEL OR TEAM DEMON?

Welcome to the Angels and Demons Blog Hop!  So glad you could make it.

I love writing angels as heroes.  They're powerful, can be dark and brooding, very sexy, and have great wings.  My angels are descended from Grigori, so they're half human but still very strong and sexy.

Do you prefer angels or demons as heroes?  Or maybe both?  Let me know what you like in the comments section.

Below are blurbs from my latest angel novel - SHADOWS OF THE SOUL, as well a short blurb from my upcoming novella - THE BRIDE WORE DEMON DUST.  Enjoy the hop!

When a Grigori prince and a demon huntress team up to find the antidote to a supernatural disease, the balance between good and evil is forever altered.

A fallen angel...
A human scholar...
A race against time...

Isabel Godfroie Heart is a Paradisian Scholar-an immortal human trained in the ways of Heaven and Hell-who's suffering from memory loss. During her last battle, a dark force erased specific portions of her past life memories. Now she remembers little of times past, save for the fact she's a demon slayer mentored by the archangel Gabriel. When ordered to a new post to help translate a volume of ancient text from a forbidden verse, Isabel is forced to work with the dark prince Nicolai Valentine, a soul who may or may not be responsible for her memory loss. If only she didn't find the tempting creature so hard to resist...

Born to a fallen angel and a mortal mother, Nicolai Valentine is a prince of the Grigorcov, the children of the fallen sons of God. Searching for the lost chalice that will save his kin from eternal damnation, Nicky unknowingly unleashes the Hadean Virus, a dark entity targeting members of the Grigorcov. Now the entity has been unleashed on man's world and Nicky's in a race against time to find the antidote that will stop this deadly parasite. But in order to keep the Hadean virus from attacking again, Nicolai must enlist the help of Isabel Godfroie Heart, the Paradisian Scholar he was unable to save from the wrath of Hell centuries ago...

I actually would prefer something different. I like seeing the different aspects and perspectives on both "species" In folklore, not all demons are evil. And in some depictions, not all angels have compassion for humans just compassion for what they are told to do. That is what interests me more. If there was a novel with a demon that didn't act hard and mean and turn soft that is different. Or a mean angel who has problems admitting he likes or loves a human. Those are the kinds of novels that really perk me up to read it. So I can't choose between the two but I do like different variations of them in romance because it's stimulating. It's not predictable.

  47. I'm going to have to go with Angels! They're sexy, built, winged... I mean, come on... feathers??? ;) And just who ever said angels were all sugar and nice? Even biblical angels were pretty fierce.

Have you read the books by Joey W. Hill with angels in it? Those are sexy, powerful, naughty, sexual, winged guys (and yes, some are dom types too ;) )

So, yep, gonna have to go with feathers over horns.

  49. Team both.

For me it's all about how well they are written. I want a good internal conflict. External is important as well, but internal rules when it comes to angels/demons.

    I' believe I'm on newsletter.

  55. This was the first book I have read completely since high school. It caught and held my attention. The characters easily came to life in my mind. I am hoping that you continue with this series because I love the couple, the chemistry and would really love to get to continue with them on their journey.

When will the next book in the series be released? Oh and I signed up for your news letter.
